terrible people and terrible service
She paid attention, was detailed in her work, and did not rush. I got the cut, and shampoo, for a couple bucks more than what I would have paid at a big-chain cuttery, but I got an upscale service.
The most important part about a haircut, of course, is the haircut. Kara asked what I wanted, and then proceeded to execute as I requested. Without me having to point out to her, she noticed a couple spots where I have cowlicks, and made sure to trim appropriately so it would look even (no one ever seems to notice without prompting).
Fantastic hair cut, and fantastic service. I've already scheduled my next appointment, and expect to be going back as a regular thing.
I was over 15 minutes early for my appointed time, but I didn't have to wait much more than around 8 minutes. The only stylist on duty that evening, Kara, was friendly and pleasant in a sincere sort of way.
Called 10/25 at 9:41am and made an appointment for 11/1 at noon for an eyebrow wax and bang trim. Drove to the salon to find the door locked and no one there. Waited over 10 minutes and no one showed up. Called multiple times and no answer. Thanks for wasting my time!
When I walked in, the ambiance was calm and upscale. I was immediately greeted, and offered a drink. That's what I call an un-expected quality service moment.
It was the worst experience ever!!! all they do is talk behind your back when you leave and are fake to your face! They cannot do hair and they all need to go back to hair school. espically the snob amy. thats even if they went to hair school!!! stay clear of this salon!
I do quite a bit of public speaking and presenting to clients, so I am particular about how my hair looks. I decided to give Salon Jalore in Landenberg, PA a try because they are pretty close to my home.
A simple trim and highlight turned out to be a 5 hour event. The stylist decided to color my hair the way she thought it would look good instead of how I requested. After attempting to fix it, I still had to go to another salon to have the damage fixed. The owner refused to even discount stating I got my hair done twice. Horrible service, no talent....stear clear.
I called to confirm their hours, and because they were short-handed, the person on the phone was intentional about making sure I made an appointment, and assured me I could do walk-in in the future. It so happened that on Tuesday's, they offer a special deal on men's haircuts.
